Eduard Chaveli began working before 1998 in IT and Communication Law in the field of Electrical Testing. After that, he founded AUDEDATOS, taking this brand to number one in the Valencia Region and one of the most important companies in Spain in the field of Data Protection.
Later on he created GESDATOS, a platform dedicated to the management of requirements relating to Personal Data Protection. GESDATOS became the most used data protection platform in the market, with over 14,000 licenses.

Óscar Bou began developing a software platform for the management of the primary sector in 1998 that would become the country-wide leader, managing a team of over 20 professionals until the firm was acquired.
In 2003 he founded QUALITEC, a firm that carried out large IT Consulting and Auditing projects for big organizations, offering specific know-how in Information Technologies for businesses.
He participated in Regulatory and Certification Audits for the biggest certification bodies for IBEX 35, Big Four and Gran Cuenta.

In 2010 they begin a new chapter in which, based on the heritage of their combined experience, they:
- Plant the seed which becomes GOVERTIS: the leading company in Governance, Risk and Legal Compliance in information security.
- Develop the GESCONSULTOR GRC platform: integral legal compliance platform based on the competencies of GESDATOS.
The expansión took place initially throughout Spain, and later in LatAm, where offices were opened in Colombia and Peru, and projects carried out in other countries in LatAm.
In 2013 collaboration begins with Telefonica. This relationship was reinforced in subsequent years until becoming the present day strategic alliance.
- Acquisition by TELEFONICA/ELEVENPATHS of GESDATOS/GESCONSULTOR GRC (today called SANDAS GRC).
- Strategic Agreement for the provision of GRC Consulting Services by GOVERTIS.
- Advice and support agreement for the Evolution of SANDAS GRC.
And from then on, the relationship grows exponentially until both parties agree on Telefonica taking an equity stake in Govertis through Wayra.
